GEORGETOWN - Located in the heart of Penang at Msogo, Prangin Mall, filmmaking enthusiasts can now enjoy a sharable studio with new industry-standard equipment anytime at a minimum fee of RM300 a month. Filmmakers are entitled to three co-working spaces, i.e. an open space photography hall, a radio-podcasting studio and a hot desk for their editing needs. Equipment was brought in by Penang's well-known Canon Eos Boutique camera equipment supplier - Max Lim.

"Filmmakers need not have to bring their equipment when they use these facilities", says Lim during one of his seminars in Msogo. "The aim is to provide a platform to young and budget filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their talents." He added. Msogo opens 24 hours daily with three floors worth of co-working spaces catered to every entrepreneurial need. Visitors can get a chance on every first Thursday of the month to explore the facilities and have an up-close and personal experience in their studios.
